While our breeders are members in good standing of the Evergreen State Shetland Sheepdog Club, the ESSSC, or its members, in no circumstances guarantees or warrants their services or the quality or health of dogs purchased from them. It is important to have a clear understanding with the breeder as well as a contract. Most of our breeders require that dogs sold as pets will be spayed or neutered.

Bringing a dog into the family is a long term commitment. Shelties are very social dogs and need to be in the house with their family at least part of the time. If you feel you are not ready for this commitment and responsibility, please be understanding and not get one in until you are ready.
